I hope either Mollie will go - such a  wuss and did a bad Paso - or Anton whose choreography was so dreadful his poor partner didn't stand a chance of doing it well and he's getting mouthy.

I thought the scoring was a bit uneven for the others too but it was ever thus.   It is very subjective which is why, I suppose, they have 4 judges from different dance backgrounds and strengths looking for different things.   Craig is the most consistent tho he can be mean sometimes.

  • Well at least we didn't lose one of the better dancers.

She's a lovely lady, but it was a fair decision.

I'm hoping some others will improve in the next few weeks. I really don't want AB or Debbie to win image

Pleased that Susan, Johnny and Jo are through to Blackpool which will, I think, be a highlight for them.

    Good result tonight.

I think Oti is a very clever choreographer as well as a lovely person so I hope she and Jonny do well next week.   Love Susan's whole attitude and enjoyment and improvement so hope she does well too.

I don't have a clear favourite but, like SGL, would prefer it if neither Alexandra nor Debbie wins because, whilst they have both done some amazing performances, they generally leave me cold.  I can appreciate their skill and technique but not emotionally.  Joe, Daewood, Gemma and Susan are much more engaging.

As usual for me, I only started watching last week (4th November) and was amazed at how high the scores are.  10's flying everywhere.  In previous series it was very rare that the 10 paddle made an appearance many times before Blackpool, now it's starting to look as if they've been told to be nice to everybody.

That said, I do agree that some of the scores and comments this week seemed unduly harsh.  Maybe the producers have thought the same and told the judges to revert to the standards of previous years.

Get Rid of the judges, Bring back Len, Alter the rules, If BBC do not reinstate my favourite then I will watch X thingee instead. WHOA BACK there, you know you would not watch anything X if they paid you a thousand pound a minute??? SORRY after last week I thought that was how we had to respond?

Must admit I will miss Ruth although she was never going to be a dancer and was handicapped by Anton milking it for his own reasons. Ruth made mistakes in the actual dance but in the dance off she lost her feet completely, she was the one to go.

I do like Gemma and Jonni even Susan but I think from Blackpool we will lose them week by week, after this weeks dance I think Molly could well be up there with Joe and Sanjiid, the dark horse is Debby, will she make it to the top? well she certainly could.

That should have been Davood not Sanjiid, where did that come from I ask.

  • I'm a bit concerned about how Johnny will cope with Blackpool's sprung floor ... it will be quite a different feel for him and will possibly be harder for him to adjust to than the others image

I can't recall which dance he and Oti are doing next Saturday ... that will be an important factor.

Dove Jonni explained his posture because he does not have ankle movement comes from the hips some dances in hold are very hard for him, Bruno said his bottom was sticking out, of course it was otherwise he would not be moving. Having danced many times at Blackpool and when only one dancer is on the floor the movement is very slight, I have danced on spring floors that were more like trampolines. Saturday could be his last dance though not for want of trying, Susan and Gemma could be there at the bottom too.

Judging purely on the dance off, and that is what they are supposed to consider, it had to be Ruth going home.  Hopelessly out of time on the section before they came down the steps, almost being dragged round by Anton at times, and then tripping over her own feet towards the end!  Shame she had to go out that way as her original performance was much better.
