  • Yes David, it is the best dancer on the night not the one your heart goes out to, they allowed Caroline to enter and cannot complain when she wins. There are a couple of trained dancers this year any bets as to where they finish.

Good to see back here, Frank.  We value your insight when it comes to all things dancing.   (Now, sequins, glitter and razzmatazz is another matter image).

I thoroughly enjoyed it on Saturday night:  I was surprised at how unco-ordinated Carol was!  But I expect her popularity on the TV will carry her far.  Too early to make a judgement - but Peter Andre looks pretty good (at dancing, image I mean - dancing!!!)

Only three weeks to go before the competition proper gets going.

  • Hello Shrinking Violet and thank you to all who said hi to me, nice to have friends.

A lot of discussion in the family they are all now into dancing after years of saying it was old hat they discover the joy of it. Why can we not flow as you and mum did they ask? Well children both mum and I learned at a very early age as do my grandchildren    It shows up with the celebs though it depends on what type of dancing they did, not all ensures them a place at the top, we will see.

    Frank.

Just back from a visit to Ireland so missed the partnering show.  Not sorry as it's usually a lot of hype and no content.   Will definitely be watching the rest of the series and loving it - mostly.   I like to see celebs progress and I like to see proper choreography from the professional dancers.   Don't like to see tangos and pasos to inappropriate music.  Don't like to see good dancers voted out and lesser but more popular celebs stay in past their limits.

Irish bookies have Daniel as a favourite to win at short odds.   I don't recognise half the celebs this year so it seems like a poor lot but I don't care as long as they all try.   Can't bear Ainsley or Jeremy so they can go first.  Please.

Our own dance club season starts in 2 weeks' time.   That'll be good fun too.

I think he may get a huge Irish vote but if he's as wooden as people say I hope he doesn't stay.

  • Jermy Vine to go first for me he doesn't have the huge fan base of Daniel and he gets on my bits on his radio show so I hope he goes first. The girl from the midwife programme looks good and Ainsley could be a dark horse too.
