People are so quick to judge when they don't know any of the facts, let alone know all of them. "Personal reasons" could mean anything from not liking being criticised to having a terminal illness, or anything in between. If it is medical would all those currently being so critical like to share their full medical history with the rest of us?
Yes, it's disappointing when somebody drops out, but that has happened in many series without the world actually ending I've always thought nobody else should leave on a week when that happens, in order to keep the number for the final. Surely they could still have the vote and combine the votes over 2 weeks to get the next dance off victims.
I did make it clear that medical reasons were valid but having a paddy isn't. I don't want to know the details as I don't do "celebrity" gossip but I do have the right to be irritated if he is just having a paddy.

It would be amusing to see a press release along the lines of "xxxxx has thrown all the toys out of the pram because a judge said nasty things about them". Unfortunately I can't see that happening.
Can't have it both ways Ob We either have to take what info we're given at face value, or insist on knowing all the celebrity's personal/medical info and draw our own conclusions.
I've always felt that WY is a relatively sensible individual who has managed his career quite well despite having had some 'issues'. I'm sure he's well able to make his own decision based on awareness of his own capabilities and frailties and being aware of the consequences of whatever choice he makes. His first duty is to his own well-being.

Some of today's so called "Celebs" seem very fragile compared with the old style "Stars" who had steel backbones. The papers are saying (guessing) it was the fracas with Len, it did rather surprise me when he opened up and Len did give him that look. Most of us know you take it on the chin and come back with a better performance, there is no gain arguing with judges. In two years of dancing my granddaughter came up against one judge who marked her well down as against her normal markings, my Daughter was not happy we told her go with it, that judge would have her own opinions and as it happened she never came back and the markings went back to normal for her. What ever the reason we are all allowed our own opinions and I would not questions others opinions as I hope they would not question mine. I was rather glad he went.
I doubt if it were the response he made to Len - it wasn't a fracas in my book - he simply made a point, politely and reasonably. After all, he spoke up in a similar way with Simon Cowell and it endeared him to everyone. Strictly is a tv show and the judges are only part of it - it's not the same as a proper competition, otherwise there wouldn't be a public vote. There's more to it, and we'll probably never know the full story - if it's personal it should also be private as far as I'm concerned.

I noticed DR not taking it away from her but when the judges congratulated her on her choreography, I did think it was almost the same as the film.........soz

aym280, I can't make up my mind between Danny and Ore
both great. Would like a man to win. Loved Ore 'singing in the rain'
Lesley was good too and she's 70!
Looking forward to next Saturday

No, she took bits and modified them and added but not a copy. Cracking stuff. Loved it and thought Ore handled the brolly and the routine superbly.
Obelixx I did say almost the same.
