I love Abutilons, but they don't like the chill in the Fens. Also Alstroemeria, which I would like to try and grow; any tips about this gratefully received. Am also fascinated by Agaves and Aloes, but don't grow them.
Lovely idea, Bev. I don't think I can add anything but I'd like to say I love Astrantias - though haven't grown for a while as the slugs love them too I also used to grow Acidanthera which islovely but I know it's called something different now.
Bergamot...The red flowers can be made into tea which soothes the mind and aids sleep. The flowers can also be dried and used in potpourri as well as a sachet under your pillow. Too much use can cause the skin to become photosensitive though.
