    kniphofia - don't like it - memories of a house I had with the front garden taken over with it.

    I know there are more elegant modern varieties but it's a case of first impressionsimage

    Matty2 - or may I call you Matty image ?? I had a similar problem with kniphofias when I moved to my present abode. Once I'd got rid, I vowed never again!

    Kestrels and kingfishers though I've never had either in my garden.

    Knee pads are an essential item for me image
