Oenothera (think that's how it's spelt) I have some waiting to go in from seed, these are supposed to be an apricot colour. really enjoy the way they pop up even if they do self seed.

...I notice they're selling nice orchids in Asda at the moment... £5 each... all in full bloom....

presumably we can go on to P's now, and the evening is drawing in, so time for a photo...

Phlox subulata 'Kimono', sometimes called 'Candy pink' or 'Tamaongalei'... this photo is 2 years ago, in April... it's very late this season.... it's such a sweet little thing..

Penstemons, and more phlox (the paniculata kind as well as the low growing ones like Salino's - which is very pretty too).

Gosh, everyone has said my favourites before I got here, oh I know - pinks!

    Gorgeous coloured petunia, Bev.

Has to be peone, especially my favourite 'Bowl of beauty.' (Google pic)

Penstemon - or did someone mention it? I love 'Garnet' unfortunately mine has not survived the winter and I didn't take any cuttings image

Perovskia - lovely blue flowers, scented foliage and a whispy look. I have them to make a privacy screen that can be glanced through in one part of the garden
