..I do like the 'Stellata' magnolias best I think - lovely indeed...
yes Fairygirl very annoying although your posts, along with many others, usually cheer me up... I'm trying again now via Photobucket - which I detest actually, but see how this works...
Tulip clusiana 'Lady Jane'...
Ribes odoratum [Buffalo currant], I prefer this to forsythia.. the flowers have a sweet spicy scent and the foliage autumn colour...
ould enlarge Salino's photos but not Fairygirl's so what do we do now? I love clusians tulips - we have the species in the Botanic Garden and I have "Cynthia" in my garden . We have Rubus odoratus in the Garden as well and the scent travels a long way. We see visitors trying to track down the scent. Here is Tulipa Clusiana in bud yesterday on the Medurterranean Bank.
Marion- mine was just taken from laptop so it must be cos Salino has used that different site. I've just registered on it so maybe that's the best idea while this site has a prob with pix?
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Round here everyone has the pink one and I've always hated it so it's subconsciously put me off flowering currant. I'm definitely going to get odoratum-thanks Salino!
Ideal for somewhere you pass every day....

Salino how do you get that Photobucket site-do you just google it-is it like Photobox?
hi Fairygirl, sorry I couldn't get back to you sooner. I note you've just registered with them and see you are finding your way around with it, I just hate those advertisements that keep popping up. otherwise lovely images of your Pasque flowers, nice close ups..!! you're obviously a fast learner...
the Ribes will grow 8 foot by 6 foot and is very hardy... a native of the American plains..
the daffodil looks very familiar but of course there are thousands of them. I might have a guess later...
happymarion,
you might consider doing the same as we have, but it's a shame that we have to resort to this, isn't it?
Verdun,
I also have a Ribes sanguineum, one called 'Koja' which I find has larger racemes than the others, well, so it is said... seeing as you mentioned it...
