    Some of the Judges stay around at our Village show and it really is worth having a chat to them , always found them , except the wine judge one year , very helpfulimage

    Never done floral art or baking , craft , flowears , wine ect , fruit and veg is our thing

    Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's traditional recipe for Victoria Sponge is a good 'un. I've made it several times and I'm no expert but it's worked brilliantly every time.

    I don't put any butter cream in, strawberry jam without the fruit pieces.

    The song "Paper Roses" comes from before the 70's although Marie Osmond sang a version of it then. How about "Rosie oh rosie I'd like to paint your face up in the sky" or "where have all the flowers gone" "Lilly the pink"?
