    I know, I know image
    I semi-retired at 55 and I can live reasonably comfortably working 2 days a week. I need a small income to balance the books and not sure what work I could do in the Pyrenees - I've only got schoolboy French. And all me mates are round 'ere.
    Now when I get my inheritance.... but Mum's in quite good health atm image

    tricky when you have to leave friends , and your MUM, tsk @ you. 

    I'm 52 and work 2 days a week, but off now due to a dodgy knee.

    I'd not worry about the language, if you need to speak French to get by, you'll pretty soon learn.

    Keep focused on your dream.

    I think you're currently living in the driest part of the British Isles. Essex constantly gets the lowest rainfall. If you lived where I am you'd be praying for sunny days like today! They've been few and far between this year image

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
