Glad to have heard from NG2: expressing the (amusing) & uplifting benefits of 'bat-cohabitation!! My son conducts site-specific surveys to check for evidence of bat 'residence' prior to any re-development of properties; armed with lots of gizmos & kit so that the fullest possible data set can be obtained to benefit both the bats and the homeowners!!
My bats are lovely. I like to stand and watch when they emerge at dusk and have them brush by me. Watching the swarm as they come home at dawn is pretty good as well
