Knocking the top off a wasp's nest with your plums could be the worst thing ever...

    Now that made me giggle!

Got to say that you guys are just playing at hitting things with the lawnmower.   Just last Wednesday I hit a small boulder and we've had to order £200 worth of parts and are waiting for them to arrive from Holland !   imageimage

Last year I wrecked the cutting deck on the ride-on when I forgot to raise it from doing the proper lawn and went into the wooded area.   Massive tree root versus mower... the tree root won!    That was expensive!  imageimage

  • The rest appear to still be hanging nice and firmly.

We are off to Losely Park Garden show this morning, will report back later if it was any good!

Sweet chestnut trees can be the devil for ride ons.  The spikes on the chestnuts hiding in the grass are strong enough to prang tyres.   Repetitively expensive till I decided to leave that grass long and make it a meadow.

Don't have any in this garden and won't in my next.
