Mowing thrills and spills!

in Talkback
Just gave the lawn a quick mow as some of it (the bits that are actually grass and not green weeds or brown victims of dog wee) were a bit long.
To my surprise, I ran over one of my plums!
A victoria plum, from the baby tree in the middle of the lawn. Annoyingly it looked riper than the ones still on the tree.
Could've been worse...

Ouch!
back in the day when I did a lot of contract gardening, I can't begin to tell you the things I've hit.
Trust me, nothing compares to cat poo coming off the end of a strimmer line and hitting you in the face. ( yes cats regularly poo on grass)
Ohh - I see what you mean Steve
....not that kind....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I'll be honest. This 'incident' was real but I posted it to see if anyone would reply. I've not had anyone reply to anything I've posted in weeks! Thought everyone might have blocked me...
Hello Steve
Mowing the top off a wasp nest is quite thrilling

Knocking the top off a wasp's nest with your plums could be the worst thing ever...
Oh, but glad to know that people still know I exist!
No plums here Steve

I've got 4 plums on my plum tree.
I'd be devasted if I ran over one of them with my mower
I'd also be quite surprised as the mower is currently at Pa Panda's
Can't see who the original poster is but thought I'd join in
Only joking Steve
