  • You're right B3 and Welshonian. Wouldn't be a good idea to tell perspective buyers they'll have nuisance neighbours.

Take photos and keep a diary or record as someone else said.

Keep receipt of plants purchased in case you have to substantiate the cost of plants lost.

We put a secondary fence to one a neighbour had, and a better one. Their gardens lovely are large but full of bindweed, nettles, ragwort, ivy. Totally unkempt.

  • I've started keeping a diary JenRen, thanks. The shrubs which died off a few months ago and the ones I'm worried about now are quite a few years old now. I only pain a couple of pounds for each one back then so no receipts.

If you can set your camera to date your photos might be a good idea too .

  • Thanks Granma. I do that anyway because I always forget when any photos were taken.

  • Bear in mind that if you had to use those pics as evidence, the date embedded in the photo merely reflects the date on the camera and probably won't be able to substantiate a real date.
