    Got up today, bright sunny, turned out to be 4 a.m. Oh well, washing done, checked greenhouses, watered peppers, cucumbers,other greenhouse, veg seedlings, cuttings, well watered yesterday wilted, picked a whole tub of strawberries (free from that terrible paper!) Honeoye, just heeled them in the greenhouse bed for later, when they arrived, have never watered (or fed) them, been picking them for weeks, and they really are lovelly. Been talking about water butts lately - when I went into the conservatory, it was obvious from the mat, that my long haired dog had had a -  ahem - but malfunction, used the mat as loo paper, so to speak!
