William was in the year below me and Henry (Harry) the same year as my younger brother. They are no different from any other very wealthy upper middle class family. The whole fawning courtship from the media and odd pot others I find odd and stomach churning. William lost his looks some years ago when his thin hair turned into a comb over, so the media spin has firmly focused on the his son and now daughter, as the people like babies and the show must go on.

Look to nature to see how a well ordered society functions, a beehive without a queen is dead. It would seem that some are envious or jealous of there situation.

I am not a royalist but don't begrudge a penny a week to maintain them.

Prince Charles as a gardener is an inspiration.

Verdun said "The royal family looks at us as far, far, far inferior to them". How do you know that Verdun? I don't think they do. So far I agree with everything AWB has said.

There are plenty more pennies spent on things I do begrudge.

Its strange how a lot of other countries around the world love to flock to Britain to see anything 'Royal' but people in this country complain about them. These people on holiday in Britain bring in a lot of money.

I am very happy with my lot in life, I am not a bit jealous over what they have got.

I would absolutly  hate it  when I get to 89 to be told there is a royal tour arranged or a day standing up in the pouring rain.
