  • Right, let's get back to gardening shall we, and leave the royal baby comments for Facebook and Twitter?

I dont do arsebook or twatter either RB

Many congrats on the birth of the royal baby,

Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

  • No congrats at all from me. 'Woman Has Second Baby'....? Come on!

Then they scoot back to one of the most expensive council houses ever - with no bedroom tax. No, I wouldn't want their lifestyle, not ever, would you? I mean - private healthcare, private education, designer clothes, servants, chauffeurs, PAs, nosepickers and bumwipers - you name it....how they suffer

However....ranting about them gives me extra energy to dig out the bracken from my garden, so maybe the Windsors have some use after all.image

let the state pay for the monarch and the next 3 in line. The rest of them can go get paid employment and buy/ rent their own homes like the rest of us.

All this talk of "hard work" PAH. Do they ever worry when their gas bill arrives or if they have enough money when their kids need new shoes?

    Hard work my ass.

I have nothing against any of them, but it's the 21st Century , let's cut it back as they have in Holland and Sweden.

No more "grace and favour" homes for old nannies and ladies in waiting etc.

    Devon.

Well, I think it's certainly put the kybosh on his chances of a knighthood image

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

  • I'm sorry if I've offended anyone, I didn't mean to.  But I agree with pansyface and SwissSue.  I am a royalist myself and have enjoyed all the baby updates and pictures on the BBC News website. I realise that the gardening community here often likes to chat about other subjects and that is fair enough.  I suppose all I have to do is to ignore those particular threads!

I have been without computer access for nearly two months, at a time when I had so many gardening questions I needed answers to, so it's good to be back!
