Oh, doesn't that count image - I was thinking that I'd got a hobby image

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

I knit, sew, embroider, crochet. I've recently knitted a tablecloth, two huge blankets, currently working on cardigans.

Reading my book collection that I've transferred to my Kindle, gardening at my boys primary school and listening to reception children reading which I've done for the last 3 years.

And I'm a coarse fisherwoman and look after my fish which I have had since they were tiddlers.

Lovely thread image I dream of doing all above but spend most of my time when not at work gardening or decorating indoors and reading about all of the other things you all do and I just wish I could do. Guess you could call it day dreaming image I'm very very good at that!

My name gives away my hobby as well and I've just started trying to pick up playing the piano again which I haven't done since I was at school (which was a very long time ago!).

    What an interesting thread...

My main hobby is singing, currently in 1 large choir, 1 small women's group singing entirely in Finnish, and a small mixed group.

I also do lots of crafts including sewing and knitting, and a bit of DIY.  I like learning languages and am currently brushing up my very rusty French.  The wonderful U3A (University of the 3rd Age, ie classes for oldies) enables me to learn more or less anything I want...  so I also do Art, and Novel Appreciation, as well as joining in the Gardening Group when I can.  Oh, and I like walking and photography.  image

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

I used to make soaps, shower gels, bathbombs for a living online, i gave it up as it got too busy, used to own my horse, love horse riding, not ridden in over a year. Candlemaking i tried that for a while, now i am just hooked on gardening, Martina Cole, Mandasue Heller books lol.
