A good use of an old tree, celebrating the fact that otters have returned to the Trent.

We liked the Piet Oudolf planting, especially the Knautia macedonica and grasses.

The more formal beds were planted with a repeating theme. They looked like nothing was there in March when we visited, the growth rate is fantastic.

I don't know whether this will show up, but a previously wooded area had been seeded with an annual mix.

The dandelion ones are amazing, they look so light and floaty, but I like the otter one, I love otters.

Forgot to put any text in above! We went to Bressingham Gardens when we were in Suffolk last week. They were fabulous. The original "Dell" garden with big island beds, colourful, and the "Foggy Bottom" garden which had a lot of structure with conifers.

I love those fairies too Lily, I bet they cost a lot to commission.  I've noticed he works a lot with Staffs Wildlife Trust (I used to work there).  I must admit I have the perfect spot for one of those Dandelions. Mmmimage
