Dicentra spectabilis - is yours up yet?

  • I bought one from the reduced shelf last year, but I can't see it anywhere yet. Thought maybe I'd lost it. I'll have to look closer to see if there's a shoot or two.

    I have 4, 1 is quite large, the others are of a reasonable size. sorry for not tknowing the names but I have 2 pink, 1 white and a red variety. I will take some pics and upload tomorrow

     The last photo was actually from a couple of weeks ago, since then it's doubled in size again and everything else has exploded with growth! I must remember to put stakes in this year so I know where things are going to come up before I stick a fork in them during the winter months!!!

    Mine has romped away too now - from nothing to being fully in flower and about 2.5' high in the space of a month.  I've a feeling this is going to be a great gardening year, everything's looking so plumptious.

    Mine have never grown any bigger than KEFs image I am pleased I found them though image
