G'luck Flower. I hope they perform for you second time around. Keep us posted on how you get on image

PS: Is it just me being a dufus or does the quote thingy not work on this forum?

Can't help I'm afraid....couldn't even get smiley face icon to work, when I submitted they changed to ????

  • My grand-daughter gave me a packet of morning glory as part of my (grand) mother's day gift.  The 8 seeds have all germinated.  7 are doing very well, but one is 'failing to thrive'.  It's about 1/4 the size of the others, and not looking very happy.  I keep giving it words of encouragement, and hope it survives, poor little thing!

I bought a couple of those paper discs with seeds in, and potted them up in hanging baskets.  They have both started growing, after only a week. One in particular looks as though it is going to make a really good display.  Not bad for 99p each.  Much cheaper than buying plants, which I usually do.

Hey GG my sunflowers have begun to germinate but very sporadic, hope they all catch up.

2nd lot of zinnias will go in next week I think

looking good Lyn. I used those seed discs and had a good display, the blue coloured one wasn't as good as the yellow coloured one though - did save an awful lot of messing aboutimage

The quote thingy does work, you have to click on 'quote'  on the bottom right hand corner of the box you want to quote from, then it will say 'unquote'  click on that, then inyour posting box just click on the quote marks.

My seeds are all started off in the kitchen then once they are up they go in the conservatory, when they are big enough to be pricked out they go to the greenhouse, far too cold at nights for seeds yet.
