Mail Order Plants - Where from?
in Plants
Hey everyone
I am planning a cottage garden style theme for part of my garden and was thinking of getting some plants mail order, any suggestions on a decent place to order them?
I have seen Jacksons, Plantify, Crocus and Parkers?

If you have a look on the thread above there are recommended suppliers there. They have all been used by forum members who have personally used them. Very good thread.
You won't beat Woottens of Wenhaston - superb plants, good value, brilliant service.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I found all the bulbs I ordered from Crocus were covered in mould.
Have ordered from T&M, Gardeners World offers, Hayloft, Parkers. It's also worth looking at the reduced rack in your local garden centre or B&Q
Thompson & morgan have an offer at the moment for 48 cottage garden plants for the price of postage (£5.65). I've never bought mail order plants before but for that price I thought I'd give it a go!
I'm still cossetting some I got nearly a year ago in my greenhouse!
If you're in the midlands Avondale nurseries is brilliant (and very reasonably priced!) but they don't do mail order.
Kelsbels, GW are doing a similar offer.
Charlie, had some plugs on Friday from T&M and they are not puny.
T&M and Parkers for bare roots and bulbs are totally fine. There are discounts for both if you are a subscriber to the mag.
