Still several inches of snow in my garden, Sheffield, but it is sunny.

How can you lie there and think of England

We didn't get one inch of snow punkdoc, so it didn't stay long.

  • We've had pretty much zero snow in Bristol image

its very sunny here but my goodness it's cold!

Shame it's so chilly today otherwise I'd be at the allotment *sigh*

  • I got the 'oooh it might be nearly spring' feeling this afternoon whilst cleaning the chickens out. Its the first day this week that I've finally managed to get out in the garden and had a lovely little potter in the sunshine image

  • Down here in balmy Cornwall we have had snow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The last of it has only just gone from my garden.

Now we have wall to wall blue sky and sunshine but gee that wind cuts you in half. The ground is rock hard and there is a heavy frost each morning.

I believe the word is Bracing!.

Below zero today in mid Dordogne, cold and grey, light snow this morning, trying to snow again now.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • A few inches of snow here on the ground in Ohio.  Weather man is saying a heatwave of 40*F and possible rain for the weekend.

  • Snow gone - ice gone - ground starting to dry a bit in Northern Ireland - very pleasant bit of tickling raised beds on patio in sunshine yesterday. Onwards and upwards to Spring.

  • 'Tis getting on for springtime here too (a bit North of Durham), all kinds of bulbs emerging, buds on the little chaenomeles and the earliest lungwort, lots of things showing new growthimageimage
