Well I'm not really sure what to do with bulbs in winter, should I take them indoors or shed?

Think it depends where you are? I'm in the south East, Buckinghamshire and if you are talking summer bulbs like lilies I leave them in the ground image

I grew three dahlias in pots this year and think I will just stick the pots in the shed or garage over winter

I unfortunately live in the NW 20miles from Manchester, I think I will put new bulbs in pots and store them in the shed until spring and see how they go, they flowered lovely on the first year and then nothing, thanks for your advice Beaus Mum : )

That's good idea as next year you can just pop the flowering pots in bare spots in the garden and back in the shed for winter image
