This is the lily Verd - 'Blackout' in flower last year. 2nd pic is the nasturtium that replaced it,  with Canna and grasses etc behind. I think I moved the dark Phormium (Blackadder)  there later but I don't have a pic. There are a few purple leaves of a Ligularia just peekingout behind the Canna too.

    Big thanks for sharing Lizzieimage

DD - the lilies are stunning, and that last pic of the clematis scrambling through the rose makes my heart soarimage.  Well done...feel very proud, even as an onlookerimage

Thanks BL image  DD's garden looks gorgeous - lovely lilies, and as Chicky says, that rose/clematis combination is to die for image

I hope she had a lovely day and is able to put her feet up for a little while today and feel very pleased with herself image

Smashing pix BL - thanks for sharing. Hope DD had plenty of cake to keep her going image

Verd - I bought those lilies as a bargain in Homebase last spring -  about 75p (I think) for three slightly dried out bulbs. They flowered perfectly well and are ready to go again now.image
