@ Kathy 6 - its Salvia "Amistad" image

  • Had a quick half hour in the garden today and there is still some lovely colour out there and then some cranes flew over above too, you hear them before you see them, always an exciting few minutes. image

Gertie, it is in fact a mum, but I believe rather a cross between a mophead and a spider, because of the outer petals (a deduction rather prone to criticism!).

    Loved the clematis, busy-lizzie!

One of the great things about this Forum (of which there are manyimage) is that it has encouraged me to take more pictures of my garden than I would ever have thought to before.  Looking back, it seems that one of my borders gets more paparazzi attention than the others .....so I thought you might like to see how it changes through the seasonsimage

March - all cut back and freshly mulched:

That's lovely Chicky, I love seeing gardens through the seasons. Anyone else looking, it all starts on the previous page.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Beautiful, chicky. Does that border face the sun, or is it shaded by the woodland a lot.?
