    Thank you ladies image

    Plants  looks quite 'blue' in the pic - but those plants are purple. I wonder if my new camera will give a better colour on the purples. I always found the old one made everything bluer than it actually was.

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    It's just roofing battens from a builder's merchant. Horizontal timber on the bottom ( heavy duty 150mm fencing stuff) and similar along the top. They're attached to the posts that run through the timber boxes. Painted all the battens first, then screwed them to the top and bottom pieces, then another piece of matching timber on the front. There will be another piece along the top to completely fill it in. image

    Thank you GWRS. There was nothing in the garden when I moved in, and part of it was just fenced off and contained that horrible red gravel and slabs, a shed and a couple of shrubs. The back fence had the gate half way along, so I moved it
