I bought a few plants from a garden centre that's closing down. Now about to make a cuppa and get the big book out to look up what I have bought! I love buying random plants as every now and then it results in discovering a new favourite that I'd never have normally purchased.
All I did was fit the new gate latch - not really gardening - and clearing away the weevil ridden compost from yesterday, now that the birds have eaten them
I was slightly busy till mid afternoon though
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Gosh Bob what a harvest how d you get yours to crop so late mine finished a month back .
I've cleared the greenhouse back and getting ready for winter storage of tender plants . using the royal we "we " mowed the leafy lawn ready to get covered again tomorrow.
I was only slightly in the zone today, bought some compost and horse poo and picked up some bargain basement plants at b&q. Apparently they are getting composted at the end of the week so I ended up with 7 which the plant dude kindly marked down to 50p/plant All big pots too. Administered some first aid and then stood them where they'll be planted when I get around to it. Surprisingly easy to melt 7 plants into a small, already full garden
I quickly went outside to cut a few roses for my mom birthday tomorrow!! Not sure about anyone else but all my plants esp my roses were covered in cobwebs, this grey powerdery stuff and due?? Really disappointing as it ruining my roses that have flowered and stoping some coming out altogether.
im hoping for a lovely weekend to plant my daffs and some grasses I got from homebase for a bargin ??????????????????????????????

Planted all of the bare-root strawberries and harvested (almost) the last of the tomatoes:
They look delightful Bob

I'm in a bit of a frost pocket primrose so they were pretty late going into the GH. I bet you were eating yours a month before me though!
Just seen your post on the forkers thread FG - what magnificent views!
Thanks Bob - it was a great day to be out. That's when it makes up for all the days you see nothing because of cloud, rain and clag!
I'm very lucky to be able to do it - and hope to do it for as many years as I can manage
