OLD GARDENING TV SHOWS

Hello Gardeners,
I'm desperately searching for the name of an old British gardening show I believe I watched here in America in the 80's. It could have been produced in the 70's. I've looked everywhere and can't find anything, not even a photo on Google.
There was an older couple presenting/gardening. The woman presenter was short, feisty & a bit bossy to her taller husband. They presented in all kinds of weather. The show was set in a part of a garden where the day's work was to be done. The quality of the film was not modern.
Anybody have any ideas?

Did you ever see the episode when they made doughnuts? at the end Johnny spoke to camera and said ( I'm not making this up ) "I hope all your doughnuts turn out like Fanny's"

Bit of a 70's TV fan but I can't put my finger on this one at all. There was a BBC program that went through all the old gardening presenters, can't remember the name of it either, but with 70's TV if you can figure if it was BBC or ITV it cuts down the search a bit. So if some one remembers that and it is on Youtube at least OP can see if it was included and a BBC show.

Ah it's nice to see this topic has sparked some memories. So far nobody seems to remember the show I'm thinking of. It definitely was a 2 person show with the woman doing most of the talking and getting the gentleman to do some of the hardest work. They were buffeted by wind and wore raincoats on the rainy shows. Always outdoors.
Hopefully some more folks will ask around about it and maybe we'll get an answer. Here in America when I was younger we watched Crockett's Victory Garden http://c2.bibtopia.com/f/213/161/9780316161213.OL.0.m.jpg which played on local public broadcast stations.
Does anyone remember a really old gardening prog hosted by a vicar, in his own garden, it was him that first said about men weeing on the compost heap. I have asked this before and assumed no one knew it. We were living in London at the time so maybe a local programme. LWT?
