Just wondering if anyone that had the problem with their amaryllis bulbs, have they still got loads of leaves and no flower? (as in my case it is still all leaves)
I had 2 lovely flowers on the new one this year, but last year's one only produced short leaves. I will nurture them both through the summer and winter and hope for something blooming next spring
I have tried to observe the various rules how to get my Amaryllis plants to flower again. I kept them in the dark for a few months to avoid active leave growth. I eventually soaked the bulbs for a few hours, as recommended (!), and finally re-potted them with fresh soil. My only concern: What kind of soil is required? I used just ordinary 'multi-compost' soil from Lidl. I am afraid, just more leaves again and still no flower shoots visible!
