Morning Marion, I thought they where some type of grape, they look nice and healthy, it's blue sky in the NW but cooler, going to get the lawn cut, get the groceries and then take flowers to the cemeterie.
Did you get your new plants?, and what are you up to today? : )
My plants were taken back to the depot by Royal Mail and have to wait till Monday to be redelivered so I hope they are still alive. I banged on the window to let him know i was in but to no avail. He was intent on getting back to his van and tore away up the road. I will sit on the doorstep on Monday. They are grasses and hostas so have a good chance of survival if they were sent out well watered.
Today is beautiful in Bristol so I plan on a long day in the garden to try and get rid of the horrible earache I developed last night at the party where the DJ was very, very loud and so the crowd of people were all shouting at each other. I resorted to going into the toilet and removing my hearing aids as i could not stand the pain so had no idea what people were saying as my lip reading skills are minimal! But the food was splendid and my friend looked well for 70. She had a beautiful cake. Only me and the birds and squirrels up the garden working should do the trick.
Awe Marion hope your ear ache goes soon, sometimes they have the music on too loud, I have one perforated ear drum due to a operation I had, but if I was in a club with loud music I could feel my ear drum vibrate sometimes , I now suffer from tinnitus in that ear.
sorry to hear your plants have not yet turned up, I do hope they survive the journey.
Thank you, flumpy. I have done quite a bit already so have come in for some cpffee. it is very warm in the sunshine we now have. i have taken some paracetamol with my coffee to see if the pain will ease. I seem to be still hearing the Beat, beat beat of that dance music!
Marion if your ear is still hurting tomorrow then get the doctor to check it out, sounds like you may have a middle ear infection, if your getting sharp pains and a swishing noise then I would definitely go to the Docs : ), take it easy Marion, the weather is lovely here to, not as warm but nice : )
Will do, flumpy but i expect he will probably say stay away from noisy places. I have had my maximum dose of paracetamol in 24 hours now as I started very early not being able to sleep but will take it easy for the rest of the day and hope things improve.
I just grow radishes in my conservatory, flumpy , as it does not seem worth putting them out for the short time they take to mature and they grow faster and more tender inside than out. most salad things are grown commercially in polytunnels now which is the same principle.

Marion, do I need to plant my radishes out or can I grow them in my greenhouse until they need planting out ?
