I decided to have a go at a stain on the bedroom carpet today - where my little madam didn't make it to the back door in time. I've now got a bit of a wait until it dries to see if my effort worked. Probably be tomorrow before it dries.
Miserable day, overcast, cool, and drizzle. Might get some more knitting done
Another good day for gardening - a bit warmer than yesterday too. My new compost arrived yesterday so now to add potting up a big pot of bulbs each day to my clean two windows in the conservatory a day. not as easy as it sounds as I have to take plants out of the big pots and find a place in the garden for them or in the conservatory if they are tender first. for the bulb planting and lift out the spent tomatoes from the conservatory for that job. Ah well Rome was not built in a day. I am expecting plants today from the Secret Gardening Co too which will go into new compost to grow on for next year, which entails making room in the cold frame for the winter or in a sheltered place outdoors. This week's offer from them included some plants I have wanted for years so have sent off for a great many. Some are plug plants so I will have to find room for them in the conservatory. All very exciting as well as exhausting thinking about so the sooner i get started the better.

Hi Marion, I see you've been busy with the camera, lovely pictures, what's the purple one called Marion?.
ive planted our new plants look...........
GWRS do you live in the north or south ?
The big purple cauliflower like plant is Eupatorum purpureum or Joe Pye Weed, a native of North America, flumpy.
Frumpy 1 , Lincolnshire , south of Lincoln , so dry climate generally but with cold easterly winds
Never short of water as I have Beck at the side of garden , that's Lincolnshire for a stream
