Is that not beautiful? Osteospermums will flower and flower for you in your container. They come in lots of lovely colours so take your pick. i prefer the big statement - all the one colour. I have just come in for coffee after cutting down my miscanthus and pruning a few roses.
Such good growing weather - wet through the night again but sunny and dry now. As I am going to the Botanic Garden this afternoon when cloud is forecast it should be ideal to get some good pics of the spring flowers. The camera battery is on charge and i shall clear my memory card in anticipation. I know there will be sights to blow your mind there.
I have just had my April copy of my GWmag. and read my letter about my children's enjoyment in the garden. Lots of lovely ideas for containers in an extensive article there too, flumpy1.
Awe Marion I will get the magazine this week, hope you have had a lovely day out, my Husband and i have been out all day, garden centre for them Osteospermums but the assistant said they haven't got any in yet, we went shopping then had a meal at Ramsbottom, we can't move now , ho and to my delight my bulbs have arrived in the post

Now the weather has decided Bristol needs some showers of rain so I brought my camera indoors.
I really must sieve my garden soil for tiny bulbs like chionodoxa before i use it to top dress my pot plants! See second picture above.
