not having sky , I can't comment on that one, but shall persevere with allotment challenge. I too would love to see more of the actual gardening, and indeed the plots, than Thane musing over her mouthful.

Plus side this series is that the plot is looked after by one person and not two as last year.

  • The proggy is out. I would like to ask which garden you would like to grow up in as a 12 year old. Bikes, dogs, boats; you can't beat it. And they didn't say that he built that bridge himself from the planks and screws. For more views see www.clare-bulbs.co.uk .

I like the second programme of the allotment challenge better I think it must be the ice lolly making and finding out that there are yellow straight cucumbers

Topbird that is a bit tough if they are only allowed there on the weekends

Walled garden they are in is in Oxford not sure how far away the gardeners are from there or if they have to stay near by

I don't have sky is there a way of watching the programmes with out it?

Mother Theresa, that was my favourite garden so far, fabulous, just what I like - lawns, herbaceous borders, trees and shrubs. The one I liked least won, but no lawn. Thank you for the link.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Lovely garden MT - idyllic setting by the river and only about 30 mins from me. Do they open the gardens at all now? I think the website says they used to open for the Yellow Book scheme but I might have skimmed a bit too quickly.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
  • Bulb customers get to walk round for free, they open as part of the retired nurses national garden scheme but that's it now.

Sounds like a good excuse to buy some bulbs..... image

Allotment challenge this week included " candelabra bouquet" and yet they were only doing one , which clearly is a candelabrum.

Just caught up with the programme MT - loved their garden - what an idyllic spot they have made.  By far and away my favourite too imageimageimage
