    Hello Gertie wish it was the sunflower but thats a connifer as shown above by Edd.

    Just to let you know i'm up in the NE so you'll know like me how unpredictable our weather is he he.

    I know exactly where you are coming from Edd lost a load of nasturtiums at the begining of May ,I'm losing morning glory because it's still too cold on a night i thought the beetroot was gone due to late frosts lost a load of sweetcorn because of the cold .You think we have a few days of warm weather and you think summer is finally on its way then the weather man tells you that we might get grass frost on a night .

    Frustration sums it up eh!

    I think the weather people got Saturdays weather wrong it was pleasent in the NE which i'm pleased about we'll see for Sunday though.

    When your sunflowers get bigger post a photo i'm interested on how you get on with especially with a trophy involved he he

    Wow Baza that is all looking amazing - like the mixed flower bit and sunflowers, your plot looks so full good going with it all

    Yesterday I got given some cabbage seedlings which have been planted out now my 2nd lot of planting 1st is potatoes  

    Sorting out an area like a trial bed for left over veg and flowers that I have grown from seed - just not enough space in garden beds for them

    Thanks GG sounds like your allotment is coming along great hope you are taking photo's and more video's .

    I'll be ending this thread once everthing is harvested and i'm hoping to put a video on here of my garden from January right through to October as i've taken a photo from the same place every week just trying to work out how you do it (this is where my daughters will come in he he)
