    Hello Everyone

Busy day at the allotment today planted onions out but done what busy lizzie does ive put a membrane over the soil to stop weeds and cut squares out to plant the onions hopefully it will work well

Also planted out a row of carrots seeds and parsnips seeds but I hilled the soil just to see if they grow better and straighter as the soil shouldn't be as compacted but we will see.

Also made 4 flower boxes to plant my sweetpea flowers in, as some of you may remember we got a garden arch last year but the sweetpeas never got all the way round but hopefully with them being at a better height they should this time

And look at these honest they are real

    Great looking planters. Gorgeous tulips.

I hope the membrane works for you. My French son in law hills the soil for his carrots and they do well. I hope you don't get a frost, the sweet corn looks almost ready to plant out.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Hia Busy -Lizzie i remember reading it last year and thought it was a good idea so ive planted onions and when they are big enough plant cabbages as well .

Fingers crossed it will work as sometimes it can be hard to keep on top of the weeds when you work full time

    Thanks

    Hello Everyone

Been busy this week getting things ready for spring/summer . Made a new flower box for the small shed as the other one was rotten. But after painting it I had to paint the shed which I really loved doing NOT he he

Me and Hels are having a debate whether to leave the big box in the middle on the decking (ME) or move it on the lawn next to the fence(HELS)

    What do yous think

    Thanks
