Well dont know about "good price" gardengirl compared to grass turf I thinks its blooming expensive, the 2 previous ones being £30 each plus VAT and delivered, a couple of hundred quid, which is why I desided to plug the other side, there are wildflower seeds there sown in April but making very slow progress.  They first pic looked like a pink cow parsley very pretty but daughter has gone home now, shame its not on here.

Thank you Baza great reminder in the picture what the flower tower looked like to start with that has well bloomed done really well, all your plants how grown so much,  how long you had your plot/ garden?  great sunfowers like the colours

planted out some sunflowers in garden today

Nanny Beach,   price - meant compared to some places - think of it like loads of plants packed into the wildflower turf compared to just the price of grass seed mix that the turf people spend out for and less time spent cutting the grass and more time watching the wildlife enjoying there food

Brilliant turf, your garden looks fab thank you so much for picture, tall turf looking well established great variety of plants, your plug plant and seed area should grow fast looks good too

Seeds arent doing very well, but may be better next year.  The first 2 turves I bought from wiggly wigglers were £30 per turf plus plus delivery I could afford to cover 14sq mt with this stuff.  Today have taken some pretty wildflowers from my shingle and paths by my veg plot, am going to dry and pu them in the wildflower bit.Got my first couple of field poppies this year, have been trying to grow them for the past 4 years.

No work going on in the garden, (or anywhere else) Was happy to have some rain after laying wildflower meadow, good job because, - Having conservatory re-built, roof has been leaking about a year, it was 25 plus years old, windows very difficult to open seals "gone", so desided to have it all done. Monday dismantled old one, was told they would put tarp over, laminate floor in there.  As they prepared to leave I said it was going to rain that night, one guy said "I hope not", NOT they didnt tarp, we had a wshing machine and cupboard in there we couldnt move, so we put 2 tarps we had over them.  Rang the ofice yesterday, left message, NO_ONE rang back, I went to my daughters with the dogs, couldn stand being here, and impossible to let dogs out for a wee, back door opens into conservatory.  Came back, they had gone, put tarp over roof, BUT no side panels,or glass, laminate under a couple of inches of water. New and old conservatory down both side paths, all over front garden, in front of 2 greenhouses, (both with veg needing watering) had to move all their stuff to get the bins out, can hardly get down the garden,Used this company lots of times before, never had a problem.its a shambles. New shed, coming yesterday, lorry broke down, coming today, God knows where we are going to put it!

    Hello Everyone

Been a while . Me and Hels think the garden is coming to an early end this year as we have had great crops from potatoes cabbages colis beetroot etc everything shot away in may and june even the sweetcorn is probably a month a head of itself compaired to last year . Most of the flowers especially the petunias have gone leggy and look like they are nearing the end. Sunflowers on the other hand have got multiple heads on and the sweetpeas look great

Have a look see what you think

    image

    Loads of sunflowers this year

    image

Flowers still look good and the sweetpeas smell amazing

    Nice big onions

Can't wait for these.  Should be ready very soon
