Been a while but now spring is here we have been very busy at the allotment
Lots of repair work ie fences blown down greenhouse moved 3 inches due to storm force winds window pains blown out but nearly all repaired now
Been making new flower boxes looking foward to seeing how they turn out once packed with flowers
Also my Dad bought me a second hand rotavator and what a difference its made soil is looking great now
We have just planted 110 potatoes as we seem never to plant enough
For those of you who follow this thread you know i like sunflowers got loads on the go but this year we are growing a deep purple variety aswell as the yellow ones really looking forward to seeing them grow
Great going sunflowers are good colour sounds nice - I am growing one called year on year and is ment to come up every year - will see, Storms have been bad that was a big move on the gh front
We only noticed the greenhouse about a week ago that it had moved couldnt believe by how much . Gonna get some 4ft metal poles with a hook on and reinforce even more just hope i can get them all the way down.
Hows your allotment coming on any new plans this year for it

You could let the seeds ripen for the birds in winter.
Have a lovely time in Corfu. I've been 3 times when I was young, we went for our honeymoon. Beautiful.
Thanks Busy-Lizzie looking forward to 2 weeks in the sun and I'm gonna leave the sunflower heads out for a few months so wildlife can tuck in.
