I don't think I've ever posted in the forkers thread, not sure why but its no big deal.

I have read all the posts. I hope you have too. Look back at the initial post I made and explain how what you have all posted makes that initial post wrong. Especially the post by Mattbeer above. All you have done is confirm that you are a clique and will defend yourselves to the point of insult to anyone who disagrees. No wonder Monty and Nigel have such a hard time on here.

artjak, I agree totally. Alas, what I said is still true. This forum is dominated by a select few, as you can see from the previous comments.

pansyface, I empathise with all that I see in you as far as a few posts can do, and if you remember the vote for bob thread I actually thanked every single person individually as they posted. That's me. I asked for something and I thanked each person from my heart asap. Very few were of the clique variety though, which surprised me. I am still so very grateful for all who voted for bob.

Oh, the only gardening programme I watch is Beechgrove, because the presenters don't try to be celebsimage

Crumbs - I'm off to enjoy the conversations elsewhere.

PS - I love Monty & Nigel but I think the forum is great too - the 2 can go together

This is what Nanny gardener posted in March 2013 on the thread 'Overwintering Cannas' :   'So now that spring is here (well it is today) and my over wintered Cannas are showing signs of life i.e. splitting the pot, can I take them out and re pot in new compost? I have never successfully managed to revive Cannas so I am hoping that this will be the year. Any tips great fully received.'   Liz 13 posted recently - October 28th - thereby reviving the thread :

'I plan to move my Cannas that are in large pots into a sheltered spot in the garden, they will be under cover and I will protect the pots with bubble wrap and fleece, my question is, should I cut off the stems if so how short ?'

I replied to her query. Digger posted and Nanny gardener posted again - I believe referring to the difficulty she has getting her Cannas through the winter -  as follows:

    'Here we go again image'

     and

'Carol Klein covered overwintering of Cannas & Dahlias on GW last Friday. Very helpful advice as always'

Verdun, Matt and myself posted again with further info.

I don't see a problem with any of the posts. image
