    Sorry about your autism (from a scientist via lawyer.). I'll try to be more careful in future (it might prove difficult).  

    Google is a useful way to get answers without any social interactionor time-wasting.  I just tried it with "mumsnet" and "NCT".  Trying hard to "get it" will be a very good therapy, I guess.

    Why not open a thread about that,  someone may see it,  as far as I know they are not  listed in the UK in either determinate or indeterminate.

    What do you mean by that? Tomatoes are determinate or indeterminate,  deciding whether side shoots are cut off or not.  The only thing I know  done to potatoes after planting is earthing up.

    Thanks for that @Lyn  Every days a school day.  Obviously that will make some better for containers than others.

    My understanding is that Determinates are usually grown as Earlies whereas Indeterminate potatoes are better suited as maincrop. 

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
