    Lovely photos Dove,  I also loved the Rudbeckia and Aster Photo and although I'm not a red fan the passion flower was beautiful.

    Really lovely pix. I love the reflections too - water's stunning when it's clear and glassy like that.  I must admit the 'stepping stones' are my favourite, but I may have been tempted to just gently nudge nut on that one...imageimage

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    I must admit I nearly chickened out of the stepping stones - after my fall the other week I felt a bit 'vertiginous' but with encouragement and support from kind friends I conquered that hurdle image

    I think Coton Manor's a definite for the Bluebells Nut image

    The snowdrops at Chippenham Park are supposed to be really good http://www.gardensillustrated.com/article/visits/flurry-snowdrops Has anyone been?  It's near Ely.

    It was a really lovely day image

    And the train journey there and back across the Cambridgeshire fens was great too.  Wonderful cloudscapes.  And in the morning I saw a heron, and a handsome cock pheasant perching on the top bar of a field gate staring at a beautiful barn owl who was perched on the gate post staring back at him.  On the journey back I saw what I think was the same barn owl flying low quartering the fields in the dusk.  Wonderful image

    We had a lovely time, I had to leave a bit early as had people coming to dinner and wasn't feeling 100%. Here are some pics;

     You'd need seriously long arms to trim the top of this hedge, it must be 3m wide.

     loads of different grasses, like this

     Snoodle and I liked the spacious feeling between the trees.

     This fountain was very beautiful.

     Despite it being October there were still many flowers.

     The limestone garden was great, we must come in midsummer next time.

     Would love to know what this is, the labelling is a bit ad hoc here.
