    Hi Runnybreak.... sorry I've only just seen your post above...

    ..no, it's not a painting, but a photo I took one Spring at the Botanic gardens.... it's a flowering cherry overlooking the lake there...   I'm rather flattered that you thought it was a painting.... perhaps I should have said ''yes, it's one I did earlier''...lol...

    ...it's a gorgeous tree.... I did know the name of it but forgotten momentarily...

    Nut. I'm not booking my train ticket until the BBC website tells me that there won't be a monsoon on the 11th. So by about Wednesday we should knowimage...and how are you and Mr. Nut?

    That's the advantage of the buses, no booking required. That and the bus passimage

    The downside is a 2 hour journey that can be driven in about 45 minutes. I might still park and rideimage

  • i didn't actually manage to drop into the train station after all this week so haven't got Dove and my tickets yet.  I'll wait til later in the week then too.
