I'm on a bit of a skive as well. Nothing wrong with me, though we did go for the flu jabs this morning so who knows what will happen next.

Have you had bad reactions from flu jabs Nut?  OH used to have flu jabs 'cos of his asthma, then one year he was taken very ill a few hours afterwards, vomiting and very high temperature, chattering teeth and shaking throughout most of the night and very peaky for the next couple of days - I nearly called an ambulance!

He's refused flu jabs ever since.

I used to have them 'cos of my work, but have never had a reaction.

I used to have them years agoDove, almost compulsory with the job.

Then I started again more recently. One year I was proper poorly for days afterwards and I've never  worked out if it was the jab or  a coincidental illness

The medics swore it couldn't have been the jab that made OH so poorly, but he's ever been ill like that before or since - it was such a shame as it was the Opening of his show at Kettle's Yard and he couldn't attend. image

He hasn't had one again.  Whatever it was it came on really suddenly and totally incapacitated him.  We were staying at a friend's home in Cambridge - a really awful night.

FG, hope you are better. I'm ok now I think.image

Nut, thanks for reminding me to go for jab - I've never had a bad reaction, Dove that must have been very worrying.
