Looking in here for the first time; very entertaining. The dancers all seem so skilful, how on earth do they remember the steps? I love watching but only bother for the latter half of the run. However I do wish it would steady up a bit, a bit hysterical and padded out. The chats with the blond lady, the tiresome clips of practice etc, Tonioli's self promotion.....boring. I have it down to a fine art now. Just time to nip to the kitchen to check the supper, replenish the glass. I marvel at those two presenters, identical hair, identical teeth, identical smiles, identical figures. Are they cloned? Saturday will be dreary without it, reruns of Montalbano?
Hi Hester, knew a Nesta many years ago a welsh beauty and dancer. You do not need to remember the steps practice makes perfect and learning young as we did in my time also helps. Agree about the dip your toe in well rehearsed for camera clips of the practice and back chat, Bruno and Craig getting a bit boring, Len using bad language? what on earth is it all coming to? AND what is Darcy doing to her hair?
David if there is a dancing God dispensing justice then Caroline will win, if as usual the none dancing voters crisp eating wine swallowing general public get their way then Bruce and Tessa will win? I know but they the GP always get it wrong IMO.
Fair result on Sunday , Judy had to go but she has been a bit of sport having to put up with all negative comments and was honest that see wax not very good
I watch it when I can as it's good for tips on choreography and technique but I'm out at dancing myself 4 nights a week - line dance on Tuesdays, salsa with OH on Wednesdays, looking after Hip Hop on Thursday and then we have ballroom on Fridays.
You certainly do need to remember all the steps to do them well, especially when learning new ones each week. We had a special class of Viennese waltz yesterday afternoon and I can now do the open steps, left turns, right turns and a flekker. Now to perfect the technique and posture over the coming weeks at our regular practice sessions and also find a cure for OH's Viennese sea sickness......
We found the Argentine Tango routine very impressive and loved all the others except Sumetra whose samba was weak and Judy who, though it was her best dance yet, will not a dancer make. The right people were in the dance off and the right person went this week.

Really hotting up now, but really Steve & Sumetra next and then the fun will really start. Do look forward to Saturday, one of the few programmes I make an effort to watch.

"David, beg to differ, as Pixie will lose to Caroline"....Morning, Frank my view is more about who I think will win, rather than who I wish to win.

Hi, Hester....welcome to the thread.
Love your message and agree with everything you say, especially about Bruno.
