    Sorry Bekkie, Im with your OH.  All through the year I sleep with the window open and the fan on.  I have a 4 tog quilt and I wear Chanel in bed (to quote Marilyn).  Hubby is usually dithering but its OK as he could sleep through a nuclear war.  I swear he's actually snoring before his head hits the pillow.

  • Hi, Pauline...I was going to say earlier, re working shifts (particularly night shifts) I think my inability to sleep during the day was down to anxiety. I was always concerned about turning-up for work feeling tired, as peoples lives were in my hands and feeling drowsy was always a worry.

    Having said that, my company were always reasonable and would rather I stayed at home (never did) if I had a bad day....with no deduction of salary.
