Lyn - your pond looks brilliant and is bigger than mine,so well done you as well
Peat - my pond is a pretty simple affair when all is said and done. And wildlife doesn't discriminate, water is water and your pond is just as welcoming to a frog.
Anyway,a dam busters raid suggests you have a reservoir!!
Ah yes. I think i have seen this before. I like the tall plants, I hope mine take off and grow. I have split some, hoping I have done it at the right time!
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
Fishy - it's looking terrific. Isn't it amazing how quickly something can start to look established? Like Lyn, my pond's on hold a little as I need to do some construction work nearby, but I'm taking pix as I go along so I'll post a sequence when it's more finished. Mine is tiny - a huge contrast from the last one I had! Well worth it though.
The young robin's been down for a look to inspect the facilities but I'm always working near it just now so I expect he's mainly in when I'm out at work. Had to top up the temporary birdbath for him last week as he must have felt safer with that for now. I'm looking forward to getting it more complete so that all the wildlife can get in and enjoy it.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Very professional. I am SICK with envy, and feel like doing a dam busters raid on my effort !
Lets see your effort then Peat.

A lovely pond Peat and everything wildlife could ask for. Lots of surrounding vegetation to give little frogs lots of cover
