Hi, being trying to respond but clingy child keeps insisting on either me or the iPad. I think we should postpone. It'll be a grim journey too, and such a shame to go to all that effort and not see the garden properly. Let's try again for a date next month. Garden may be better closer to autumn anyway, rather than at the august lull. (Ok, so looking on the bright side, there!)
I agree - 3 of the 4 roads out of our village were flooded yesterday & there's a lot of rain to come over the next 24 hrs so I wasn't really looking forward to the journey! Hopefully we can all get together soon.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
You're going to think, 'what the bluddy ell has it got to do with him' or worse but I do care for other people and think (looking at the local weather forecast) you would be wise to do this another time.

Sorry Panda - your post snuck in there
Met office is says 70 - 85% chance of rain until 2pm - I think we were planning to be there from 11am?
I've texted Snoodle to say "we're discussing this - what does she think?"

I think that's sensible/practical

Ditto
It's not just the getting there - it's the getting home again afterwards that might be tricky for some if the roads flood

Ps, think you'll need more than a coat with what's coming....
