Because FG says she has some ongoing project areas in her garden after a conversation we had that I thought the whole of her garden was immaculate and perfect and she hinted she may post before and afters
This an "after" and "before",( why does it do this) We saw the potential in this old walled derelict garden 9 years ago the top photo is the result of 7 growing years.

Expertise?? Not from me Lily, I'm a relative newbie by comparison, which is why I posted my before and afters for ideas/inspiration. Your garden looks like a stately home one, it's beautiful Gorgeous part of the country too
The garden was once owned by the Estate and fell into the usual sad story of unloved land. I sometimes think we were mad to take on the challenge. There is an orchard which has huge drainage problems and cost us a fortune and a wood area which we are still tackling. The first thing we learnt was never to expect to be finished!
I just love flowers so my responsibility is the walled garden
