Star gaze lily why are you leaving work? Hope it's through your choice image

Oh poor BM, the way to do a job you are not keen on is to FOCUS totally on it, then your brain has no room to be bored or to start complaining about it. If you DO feel bored, then you know you are not focusing enoughimage Sounds harsh, but it is true. I could garden till the cows come home but I find most housework a bit tedious, so I force myself to do it with full concentration, and then the job gets done well and I feel saintly for having done it.image

Oh artjak I do love my job but took 6 months unpaid leave to look after Beau and spend some me time doing projects in the garden and home (both me and OH work shifts so was nice to be home same time)  the 6 months just went far too quick!

As for housework, what's house work? image I just run around with the Hoover and duster if someone is coming around image

Hi Beaus Mum, yes it is my choice, but work has became rather unbearable these last few months due to new manager with no people skills. Quite a few colleagues have left over the past 8 months because of her.  There are other personal reasons too, one is my sister needs help since an operation earlier in the year. The work problem made the decision to leave easier.

What a shame star gaze lily, I've known many managers like that over the years and know exactly how you feel. How many weeks left to go? If its that bad just get your doc to sign you of, just say the magic word stress and that nasty manager won't be able to touch you! image

After the rest of this week, just two more weeks, Beaus mum. She is now being nice, as she's trying to get me to stay, but its too little too late.

image Thank you Beaus Mum, they are all delightful, look so natural in the glassware. Having different blooms in one vase is a good idea, often there is only one that can be used anyway. I will try something tomorrow image

Artjak, I know what you mean about focussing on hw. After an early visit to the allotment I gave myself an hour to  tidyup and vacuum - with one eye on the clock it worked! Showered, lunch and feet up - whacked! imageimage

Glad she is being nice now, blooming typical of that type of manager too! Grrrr

Did you water your garden tonight? Took me over an hour! I have far too many pots! Watching bb warm and browsing this forum image

Thank you for liking my vases and hope you share yours tomorrow image
