Star gaze lily, yes, that's the hydrangea I remember. I like the neat blooms and colour. Would it survive in a container, do you think?
Brother Cadfel rose is beautiful rosemummy
they open up and smell like a rose! however they do suffer from the rain spoiling the blooms, brown edges and petals fall. They are worth growing despite that
At last I can join you all, no nice cup of tea yet like you Bizzie but sure OH will oblige soon Still no rain here so watered all pots and will do garden early in the morning as bit too dark now. Dopey me glossed back door and got to wait up till don't know what time till it drys and I can lock up! At least I can catch up with you all though
Hope sford gets back to you Bizzie as I too would very much be interested in what my neighbour calls a cutting garden
Thank you for treating us to more pics of your pond, it really is gorgeous and bet its lovely to sit by it with cup of tea in hand
Artjak thank you for replying to my painting questions and as new to forum it hadn't really sunk in you was an artist, I just looked on your profile Have you shared your workhere's he forum? Would love to see
Orchid lady your jug and teapot sounds perfick Look forward to the pics
I don't really have a clue what shabby chic proper means, I jthin love lovely things around me in my home and garden, my OH calls it tut!!!
But what does he know
Archiepem yes I subscribe to country living! You have me sussed!
Bizzie B, I don't know if it would be ok in a pot as I don't know what its called. It was already here when we moved in. It was quite big then and its huge now. Not sure how you would take a cutting, do you.
Best wishes to Beaus mums mum, hope she feels better soon, love and hugs x
What a stunning blue Beaus Mum, they do look good just sitting in the glass pots
Here's a challenge open to all: which contaoner would be the best one to display sunflowers?
star gaze lily I've only ever 'layered' hydrangeas, though I would think that cuttings are just as easy. May try both methods on mine as I would like go see which colour comes true as there is such a variation!

In answer to your challenge I would say a large dark blue earthenware type pot, maybe like the glazed ones you get for the garden
