  • I was trying to explain this seed swap thing to a bemused/amused friend the other day. She's not a gardener so doesn't get itimage

Same as what everyone else says about the postage Amy - I've been given lots of nice plants in the past and seeds, plants and advice from the forum. In my case I often have to learn what to do before I can give away plants and seeds though - magazine seeds are easy!

I have all those Amy that you mentioned on the previous page and now I have Tagettes and different sorts of nasturtium, but they wont be ready for a while for Spring sowing.

Bare in mind that if you sow 50 packets of seeds you need somewhere to put them when you have pricked out and potted on.

I am in the middle of doing just that, I have just kept about 50 of each variety but thats a lot of greenhouse space when they are all done.

Like others have said, post free.

Do you want more ragged robin seeds Fishy?

Fishy, i think you had the last of them, did I send them to you in the original envelope. I could send you plants when they are big enough to travel, they have germinated already.

  • Thanks all! image

Yes, perhaps I have gotten a little too over excited and may not sow all of them this year!

I've got a big back and front garden so plenty of scope for when they are planted out but yes...I may need more greenhouse space for growing on though!....now, how can I persuade my husband?! image

Lyn - do have any of your foxglove, delphiniums, lambs ears, aquilegia or scabious seeds left?

Is it weird to get excited about seeds?image

Lambs ears, Scabious, 4 different aquis, 3 different fox, and 3 different delphs packed for you. Anything else while I am knee deep in seeds? image
